The Rolex/Tudor relationship dates back to 1926 when Hans Wilsdorf, the founder of Rolex SA, acquired the Tudor company in an effort to create a more affordable alternative to the flagship Rolex name. Producing watches with similar likeness side by side, both Tudor and Rolex are revered for their quality in craftsmanship and brand integrity.
