The vibrant dials of the Oyster Perpetual collection are crafted using a meticulous multi-stage lacquering process. Each dial begins as a brass base that receives six carefully applied layers of coloured lacquer in a strictly controlled, dust-free environment to ensure a perfectly smooth and uniform finish. Once the lacquer has cured, the dial is varnished and polished to enhance its richness and depth of colour. The inscriptions are then precision pad-printed, while the hour markers and Rolex crown are individually fitted by hand before the completed dial is assembled onto the movement.

Rolex manufactures its stainless steel watch cases from Oystersteel, a proprietary 904L-grade alloy renowned for its exceptional resistance to corrosion. Commonly used in the aerospace, chemical and high-technology industries, Oystersteel offers outstanding durability while maintaining a brilliant polished finish, even when exposed to demanding environments.

Completing the watch is the iconic Oyster bracelet, a design celebrated for its perfect balance of robustness, comfort and timeless style. Characterised by its broad, flat three-piece links, the Oyster bracelet has been a hallmark of Rolex since the late 1930s and remains one of the brand’s most recognisable designs. On the Oyster Perpetual collection, it is secured by the dependable Oysterclasp, ensuring both comfort and security on the wrist.
