With origins dating to the late 1950s, the SuperOcean collection is one of Breitling’s longest-running and most popular collections. A purely dive-focused collection, the design family has long balanced the well-respected chronograph maker’s catalog, providing the market with years of interesting, highly water-resistant designs executed in both standard diver and diver chronograph styles. In 2010, the SuperOcean base design saw its supposed successor with the debut of the SuperOcean II, which went on to become an independent collection in 2015. In 2017, Breitling began phasing out and evolving the SuperOcean II collection in favor of the firmly vintage-inspired SuperOcean Heritage Collection; this novel group recalling aesthetics seen in the dive family’s earliest years, and significantly following up on the original SuperOcean Heritage watches introduced a decade earlier. Now, both the SuperOcean Heritage and original SuperOcean reside in the Breitling’s catalog, each offering the market a well-rounded smattering of dive watch offerings unlike anything else.

Today, the SuperOcean Heritage collection is considered by the brand to be its modern embodiment of “style at sea”; its distinct designs recall a more than six-decade legacy which has laid the foundation for the modern brand’s diver offerings. It includes a diverse array of chronographs, time-only, and time-and-date divers, many produced in eye-catching colorways and various size options and together ensuring an appealing range of aesthetically-driven, nautically-focused timepieces.

This Breitling SuperOcean Heritage is a limited edition stainless steel timepiece that dates from approximately 2009. Featuring a black uni-rotational bezel surrounding a white dial with silver batons, this is the striking A23320 model. The 46mm case houses an automatic movement with date and chronograph functions which has been thoroughly checked by our experienced onsite watchmakers and is in full working order.
