Omega Speedmaster Anniversary Series – Limited Edition 311.33.40.30.02.001 39.7mm (2016)

The original OMEGA Speedmaster CK2998, first released in 1959, remains one of the most iconic iterations of the Speedmaster line. Drawing inspiration from this classic design, OMEGA reintroduces it in a contemporary Limited Edition of just 2,998 pieces. This tribute model features a stainless steel case paired with a polished blue ceramic bezel, engraved with a white Super-LumiNova tachymeter scale. The same deep blue tone appears on the sub-dials and minute track, which encircle a central opaline-silvery dial. The chronograph layout includes a small-seconds counter at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute recorder at 3 o’clock, and a 12-hour counter at 6 o’clock.

Rhodium-plated Alpha hands and applied hour markers lend a refined brilliance, complemented by a rhodium-plated “lollipop” chronograph seconds hand — a distinctive nod to the original CK2998. The hour, minute, and seconds hands are all coated with Super-LumiNova for enhanced legibility in low light. The caseback bears the classic Seahorse emblem, along with special engravings of “SPEEDMASTER”, “CK 2998”, and “LIMITED EDITION”, marking its heritage and exclusivity. Completing the design is a blue leather strap with beige stitching, secured to a movement driven by the famed manual-wind OMEGA calibre 1861.
