Breitling Crosswind Auto. B13055 43mm (2004/5)

The Crosswind we present today is one of the last truly retro models in this collection launched in 1997. With its straight lugs, slim proportions and charmingly retro two-tone aesthetic, this watch sends us straight back to the 90s with its sporty-chic style.

As for the details: on the wrist, the watch measures 42.7 mm in diameter and 15.3 mm thick. The dial, like the case, has a distinct retro appeal, with central guilloche, and applied Roman numerals, all filled with Luminova. There is the iconic Breitling signature rider bezel, the same as on the Chronomat models. This look was designed to help pilots grasp the bezel more easily when wearing gloves, but also to protect the sapphire crystal from possible shocks. The 6-9-12 vertical configuration of the chronograph and the date at 3 o’clock hints at the placement of the movement inside – where the Breitling 13 automatic caliber, based on the famous Valjoux 7750 is found. A small detail but important detail; the model is accompanied by the steel and yellow gold slanted link bracelet – a style famous for this era and very hard to find in good condition.

This Breitling watch is in excellent condition and works perfectly. It has been officially serviced with Breitling agents in early 2025, so it will be delivered with a Breitling revision case and service documents. This model dates from 2004 approximately.
