TAG Heuer Calibre 7 Link GMT WAT201C (2020)

The Link series of watches takes its name from the unique S-shaped segments that comprise its bracelet; while TAG Heuer describe it as the only watch in its repertoire designed bracelet-first, the main watch chassis is hardly resting on its laurels.

This example features a strikingly intricate dial in anthracite grey, vertically ridged with deceptively bold grooves that make the watch face wonderfully reactive to light. Meanwhile the hands, indexes and 12 o’clock logo are laid out in meticulously hand-applied rose gold plating, making the details highly legible while retaining the classy metallic theming.

A dedicated 24-hour secondary timezone dial also features, complete with inset concentric numerals for easy reading, while the whole package is powered by the venerable Calibre 7 GMT automatic mechanism, viewable in all its detail through the exhibition caseback, backed up by a 42-hour power reserve that ensures the watch remains accurate even if only worn intermittently.
