Cartier Vintage Must de Tank Tri-Color Vermeil (1970s)

The Cartier Tank is one of the most long-lasting models of production. Introduced in 1917, it has been presented in various editions and shapes but remained a classic among the classics, a timeless watch that never went out of fashion.  During this period of change a new collection was unveiled with the introduction of new material for Cartier: Vermeil. The “Must de Cartier”, cases were made in sterling silver plated with 20 microns gold.
This stunning Must de Cartier Tank example features a striking tri-tone design. The dial’s name is derived from the three different colored stripes that appear on it: yellow gold, pink gold and silver. Demand for original vintage Must de Cartier’s is at an all-time high following Cartier’s relaunch of the line. This piece is vintage original, mechanical, manual winding model with a beautiful tri-color dial which embodies 1970s fashions.
The Cartier Must De Tank Vermeil case features a rectangular vermeil (gold-plated silver) case that measures 22mm x 30mm, making it a smaller-sized watch that is suitable for both men and women.
